Okay one more and then I promise I’m done today. Commission for my friend Erin of her Resident Evil fan character busting up some zombies.  I don’t think I’ve ever actually drawn zombies before. Ghosts and mummies yes, but zombies? Not that I can recall.

Selections from my art at 100% (though tumblr downsizes a bit for the dash of course). I always kind of like when people share what their images look like full sized, because you get to see a lot of little details that don’t always show in the “web-sized” versions. And I think it gives you a better understanding for how that person draws/paints.  Plus, it’s just kind of fun to see how big digital images actually are sometimes.

I redrew my sketch that accidentally got deleted yesterday. Didn’t get quite as fancy as I had originally intended (was going to color it initially, but didn’t feel like it the second time around) but I’m still pleased with the result.  Mostly it’s because I don’t draw this OC too often and his profile has always given me a touch of trouble. But I’m happy with how this came out, even if I liked the nose in my first version a tiny bit better.

I was drawing a little cameo of one of my characters that I almost never draw and it was coming out so perfect. But I was only about five minutes into the drawing and hadn’t saved yet. And then I walked away from my computer to peel an easter egg and I came back and PS had quit unexpectedly.  And now my lovely picture is gone.

Collaboration time! A while back my good friend Anna and I decided to do a few colabs together. We both did a sketch, then swapped for the color. The sketches were inspired by a random generator prompt. This one, which Anna sketched, was “The white hare cries with the voice of a maiden”. It was a challenge to do a lineless color job on top of Anna’s wonderful lines, but I really like how it turned out! To see her line drawing, click here! To see the finished colab that she colored, click here!

I dont usually do these, but im pretty curious, considering I have difficulty describing/defining my own style.

it would be really nice

Hesitantly and fearfully reblogs with immense curiosity

…I thought this would be a GREAT idea! Then realized I kind of style bounce all over. Still, if anyone wants to try?

if you have time i’d love to hear

Tentatively curious about this. It’s true sometimes I have a hard time describing my own style, so I’d love to hear how other people might describe it. If you’ve got the time of course!
